To celebrate the 2007 Ashes Series played in Australia the Royal Australian Mint struck a $5 99.9% Silver Proof featuring the Ashes urn flanked by lion & kangaroo - Design by Wojiciek Peitranik.
The coin is housed encapsulated in a red hinged-lid presentation case with stitching resembling the seam of a cricket ball protected by a colourful cardboard shipper and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Struck from 36.31g of 99.9% pure silver.
Accompanying certificate of authenticity has some damage to it, and red storage case has minor scuff marks.
