A spectacular error, this 50 cent coin has been struck 60% off centre, losing much of the design on this Charles & Diana commemorative release. Certainly an impressive error coin, it is rare to find errors such as this on the larger denomination coins. The coin is in virtually uncirculated condition - the scrape seen on the obverse is from the minting process, as this beauty slipped through the Mint's quality checking process.
